Our Vision:

BUILDING A VIBRANT DOWNTOWN

Rediscover Downtown Peru exists to build a vibrant downtown.  We do this by supporting local businesses, encouraging revitalization and historic preservation.  Our goal is to create a strong quality of life for all who live, work and visit downtown Peru.

We work closely with the Miami County Chamber of Commerce, MCEDA and city government to focus efforts on improving the areas of of downtown Peru from Broadway Street, between the train overpass south to the Wabash River, east to Wabash Street and west to North Miami street — or as we call it, Downtown Peru.

Rediscover Downtown Peru is a national and state Main Street organization.  Our committees are organized around the "four-point approach" of the National Main Street organizational structure:
